A prototype of the upcoming 2015 Ford Mustang has been caught in action.
There are a lot of rumors and speculations regarding the next-gen Mustang in terms of engine lineup so it's best to be cautious when hearing the entry-level model will have a V6 engine. Next in line will allegedly be a 4-cylinder, 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine rated at around 350 bhp (261 kW).
The more powerful GT model will presumably use a V8 5.0-liter power unit churning somewhere in the region of 450 bhp (335 kW). The range-topping Shelby GT500 could be ditched in favor of an SVT Cobra variant with a naturally-aspirated engine rather than the familiar V8 5.8-liter supercharged mill.
