LORAIN? The Humane Society is offering a $5 thousand reward for any information leading to an arrest in the extreme neglect and starvation of a dog named Herbie.
Herbie was found in front of an abandoned home on West 11th Street in Lorain.
He was severely underweight and had a badly fractured skull.
Humane officers believe Herbie had been caged and neglected. His eyes were swollen shut and he couldn?t even stand up.
The Lorain Animal Clinic named the pup Herbie. They?re caring for him and say he?s doing much better than when he was found.
?Justice for Herbie? has also set up a reward for an arrest and conviction.
