Health is a much more important component of life than home ownership. Would we all agree we'd rather be healthy renters - or even homeless - than sickly homeowners?
Anyway, I don't think I can just walk into a doctor's office and demand to have my blood pressure checked and, hey doc, while you're at it, what do you think of this bump on my elbow?
Real estate brokerage is a business. The listing on the website is for ready, willing, and able buyers. Sellers list their properties because they want to sell them, not show them. Real estate brokers show properties to people that they think will earn them a commission, because real estate brokers only get paid if a property sells.
Brokerage agreements are becoming standard in my market, and I think that's a good thing, because it creates written evidence of a service agreement and the method and amount of compensation for that service.
I know that oftentimes, there will be events where medical practitioners will give free blood pressure checks; in our business, we have something called, "Open Houses," in which people are free to attend regardless of their agency relationships or prequalification status.
